The mission of the Friends organization is to provide volunteer support and assistance to the Ann Arbor District Library; to promote the community's knowledge of and interest in the services and needs of the Library; to raise funds and to serve as an advocate for the Library.

Description

The Friends of the Ann Arbor District Library is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1953, the Friends organization consists of members and volunteers who are interested in the maintenance and development of a high-quality District Library. Activities include the operation of a used bookshop, delivery of books to the homebound, fundraising and advocacy.
