Optional Christian involvement
Angels Touch program believes in the dignity and equality of every individual's ethnic, cultural and religious background. Our team leaders' personal beliefs are Christian based. We strive to spread God's love to everyone involved and encourage volunteers to join us. However, we do not require volunteers to be Christians to take part in our program. As a volunteer you will have the following opportunities:
Teach and engage the children and women in creative and fun activities supporting our beliefs.
Read Bible stories and facilitate role plays with children at the orphanage and school.
Attend and/or participate in the "Power Women's" informal Bible study with prayer and songs on Wednesdays. They are excited about their faith and love having volunteers join them, however, are not judgmental toward those not comfortable with that and invite all to their sessions.
Volunteers will have the option to not attend the Bible study and continue working in the shop assisting the women with making hand crafted items.
