Stepping Stone Adult Day Health

Stepping Stone Adult Day Health is a non-profit organization that promotes health and well-being and quality of life for those who need assistance in order to remain at home and in the community. Our program model is a wonderful, community-based alternative that helps prevent unnecessary institutional care. It is designed to support the individual, the family, and our community in a supportive, multi-cultural environment.

We manage four adult day health care programs located in central San Francisco that are licensed and staffed to provide nursing services, physical, occupational, and speech therapies, recreation therapists, social workers, and personal care aides. We presently serve over 350 ethnically diverse seniors and disabled adults each year.

Our programs offer the services of accessible vans that bring participants to and from one of our four centers where they will enjoy health care and social opportunities, a heart-healthy meal, and therapeutic activities. Our staff also offers education, training, and respite to the families and caregivers of our participants.
