Mission Statement

Harvest residential fruit for the benefit of unfortunate people

With permissionn and appointment, we schedule a harvest pick, usually on weekends. We meet as a group, McDonald's parking lot for example. A ten minute briefing and expectation is given and we leave as a group, caravaning. Upon arrival of the resident's home, the group is introduced to the owner asking for any pacific instructions prior to picking the residential fruit tree(s). The complete process takes within 2 to 3 hours. Once finished we take "a trophy picture" showing the buckets in front of the group. The fruit, usually oranges varies upon the season. We use harvest poles, no ladders for safety--emphasised on the premises.

This was our first time volunteering. Sergio was kind enough to answer all the questions I had regarding Volunteer Match. It was a great group of kids and adults that we worked with today.
