Mission Statement

We believe that every child that we serve deserves the opportunity to reach his or her potential, and to explore as many creative outlets as possible, whether it be sports, art, poetry, dance or chess. We also believe each child deserves academic support and encouragement. Most importantly, we believe that every child deserves a safe space to explore these opportunities and caring adults to provide structure and guidance.

Description

The Lenfest Center is a safe, positive place for youth and families in the Hunting Park neighborhood of North Philadelphia. We strive to offer a variety of educational, athletic and life-skills opportunities for children in grades K-12. We understand that a child's health and well-being is tied to that of his or her family, so we also offer programs and educational opportunities designed to strengthen families in our community.
