Weimaraner Rescue of the South

Description

Weimaraner Rescue of the South is a group of volunteers who recognized the number of Weimaraners in need in the South. Many Weims are dumped at shelters or abandoned every week. This is due to their recent popularity & strking beauty of the breed. People just want a beautiful grey pup & do not know what to expect from an adult weim. Our group takes in 100 dogs per year, provides veterinary care & a loving foster home until an adoptive home can be found. We thoroughly screen applicants by checking vet reference, conducting a phone interview & home visit prior to approval to adopt.
