Mission Statement

Vision and Mission Statement of Place of Hope Ministries
Many people and families lives have been broken and fragmented. Drug and Alcohol addiction, abuse, homelessness, and life controlling problems have taken their toll. Jesus Christ can restore hope.

Our vision is RESTORATION
...
To see people spiritually, emotionally, and socially restored:
... To God
...their families
... and society.
We want to see people become inter-dependently self-sufficient.

Our mission is to BRING HOPE ...
* Bringing the healing and restorative message of Jesus Christ to individuals and families in concrete ways,
* ...Providing opportunities for spiritual growth, and ...
* Encouraging the body of believers to gather to worship God. We accomplish our vision and mission through a Homeless Outreach Center, Recovering Hope Discipleship program, Jail and Prison Outreach, Living Hope Residential Center, Restoration programs, Sunday Chapel services and other ministries. These ministries provide a place of hope, healing, friendship and restoration in an environment of love and acceptance.

Isaiah 58:12 "those from among you shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in."

Description

Church Of The Week Sheltering Program
We facilitate the Church of the Week Sheltering Program, which runs from Oct.-May each year as needed. We provide shelter for those in need if the local shelters are full or families and individuals are unable to get into the shelters. As of Oct 2006, we have 19 church sites and over 1200 volunteers to help this program work. And, as part of the St. Cloud Churches Community Meal ministry, we provide an evening meal from Oct-May free of charge to anyone in need.

Christian Living Hope Center
Our Living Center consists of a structured daily program with chapel, classes and work-readiness activities. Sobriety is required.

Expressions of Hope Thrift And Specialty Store
Thrift Store Open Tuesdays through Saturday. We provide free items as well to people in need.
