Worldclass Botanic Garden and Sculpture Park located in Grand Rapids, MI. Opened in 1995, indoor and outdoor attractions on 140 acres.

FMG is my favorite organization to volunteer with because it's exceptionally easy and enjoyable as an indoor horticulture volunteer. I enjoy watering the plants or sweeping the floors before the guests arrive, so it's like I have the gardens all to myself. All of the staff I've interacted with are helpful and cheerful. There's no sense of urgency to the work, and it's very low pressure.

One of the best places to volunteer. I volunteered here for a large portion of my freshman summer leading into sophomore year in high school and found it extremely fun and useful.
