Mission Statement

The mission of Voices of Change, new music ensemble, is to promote works of living composers through performance, recording, commissions and educationl outreach.

Description

The Voices of Change ensemble consists of 6 players from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the Dallas Opera Orchestra who are committed to performing newly composed works for the Dallas/Fort Worth communities.

Voices of Change provides four-six concerts of contemporary music through every concert season. Furthermore, the ensemble places a high emphasis on education about new music in the community, and therefore provides annually a minimum of 8 free adult- and youth-education events.

Beyond these events, Voices of Change raises funds to commission and record works by living composers, to create a lasting legacy for the continuation of classical music and the cultural and artistic development of our age.
