Michigan 4-H Youth Development is a youth development program that involves volunteers in providing positive, experiential, educational opportunities for and with youth. Description

4-H is the largest youth development organization in Michigan with over 200,000 youth participating in activities from gardening to performing arts, science and technology to youth entrepreneurship, and communications to outdoor and environmental education. We use experiential (i.e. hands-on) learning to facilitate meaningful and enriching experiences with skills and ideas learned that last a lifetime!

The 4-H program has so much to offer youth. I specifically work with kids and horses together. It is amazing to watch how much the kids learn and improve so many skills - not just riding - during a season of competition. Very rewarding.
