Joining with individuals through outreach, relationship, advocacy, and bridging gaps to reduce harm and support healing.
Since 1996, REACH has worked to improve the quality of life for people struggling with homelessness and addiction in downtown Seattle. We believe that all people deserve care and connections to housing, healthcare, education, and job assistance. To this end, we meet people where they are, taking our work to the streets to provide assistance without conditions.
We partner with clients to achive goals that they define. While often incremental, these goals can be life-changing as each modest success builds trust, gives clients hope that the change they want is possible, and assures them that REACH staff will be there every step of the way. We accept our clients where they are emotionally, physically, and psychologically, and tailor our work to compassionately walk with them, as far as they want to go.
