Mission Statement

Our Mission is to comfort and provide quality emergency supplies to children in crisis, enabling them to establish some sense of normalcy in their disrupted lives. To prevent the cycle of abuse by enabling children from abuse to focus on their talents and strengths, empowering them to produce a balanced life with opportunity to succeed in their future.

Description

CUDDLE Outreach 1st program: produces and distributes Wellness Kits to children in crisis through child protective services, group homes, shelter, and crisis centers. The kits consist of a hand made quilt and bag, a bag of toileties (shampoo, soap, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb), stuffed animal and children's illustrated Bible. Directions to make the quilts and bags can be obtained by contacting CUDDLE by e-mail or our website www.cuddleoutreach.net.

2nd Program: Survival Essentials Course is a 12 week program that prepares youth ages 13 - 22 to live on their own. This is a mobil unit which can be taught in any community. The program will reduce incidence of behavioral problems, increase social opportunities, and promote positive involvement in the community. Survival Essentials will help children develop the tools they need to live successfully on their own. It is important to us to achieve a lasting benefit in the lives of children in crisis, who are falling through the cracks of our legal and education system.

3rd Program: Mementoring Youth in Your Community; young people need supportive adults in their lives. You can help children reach their full potential by becoming a mentor. Young people who have a caring adult in their lives are more likely to overcome the barriers that block their path to success.
