The mission of Promises Community Ministries is to minister to the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of those we serve in ways that inspire responsibility, accountability, and Christian discipleship.

Description

Promises Community Ministries is the outreach arm of First Baptist Church Burleson. We exist to help our neighbors through times of need, but our goal is not to merely provide a handout. The volunteers and staff of Promises desire to come alongside our clients to help in any way we can, whether they are dealing with a crisis situation or simply striving to improve their lives. We serve the community of Johnson County and also residents within the Burleson Independent School District with emergency food assistance, clothing assistance, job training, GED test preparation, professional Christian counseling and Christian discipleship.
