Mission Statement

The Hardrock Hundred Endurance Run organization seeks to provide a safe, well-organized, and environmentally responsible 100 mile run in the San Juan mountains. Through our associated Joel Zucker Memorial Scholarship Fund, we award scholarships to graduates of high schools in the Silverton/Lake City/Ouray/Telluride area to further their education in college.

Description

The Hardrock Hundred Endurace Run is a 100 mile trail endurance running event held in the San Juan Mountains of Southern Colorado in July since 1992, with the start/finish in Silverton. Originally founded to bolster the Silverton economy after the local mines closed, the run contributes to maintaining trails in the San Juan Mountains and sponsors the Joel Zucker Memorial Scholarship Fund, which awards college scholarships to graduates of local high schools.
