Mission Statement

Rose Academies' mission is to empower the vulnerable and oppressed with life saving knowledge; to educate the illiterate, so that communities will thrive and children will live.

Description

Rose Academies works in Uganda, Eastern Africa teaching vulnerable and oppressed women and youth about menstruation, sexual development, reproductive health, and disease prevention. We are advocates for social justice, human rights, and positive change as we work to achieve the global goals. We support the Deaf and disabled both in Santa Clara Valley and abroad. Our program development is focused on healthcare, economic enterprise, vocational programs and career development. We believe in the power of collaboration and work with academic institutions, including: Texas A&M University, Santa Clara University, and Kyambogo University (Kampala, Uganda) as we work towards our goal of educating the illiterate so that communities will thrive and children will live.
