Description

Camellia Waldorf School was founded in 1989 and is an independent school serving families with children from toddler age through 8 thgrade.

Our campus resides on 3 acres in an urban Sacramento neighborhood. The unique beauty of our school truly shines once you pass through our gates. With our dedicated teachers and staff, smaller classes and the wisdom of a Waldorf curriculum, children receive the gifts of an academic experience that is so much more than just learning. At Camellia Waldorf, children have the opportunity to blossom into their truest and best selves.

Camellia Waldorf is proud to serve families of all religious beliefs and diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds.

At Camellia Waldorf School we are committed to building a school whose student body, faculty, staff and curriculum reflect the economic, cultural and racial diversity of Sacramento.

Private education can often be viewed as a commodity to be purchased by a family for their child. Camellia Waldorf School seeks to depart from this consumption-based perspective on education and move towards a partnership approach that engenders in our students and community a sense of justice, equity and compassion.
