Mission Statement

A New Beginning Crisis Center's goal is to promote interest and concern and bring awareness to the residents in the greater Birmingham region about the problems facing the underserved communities in the area, such as crime, violence, drugs, poverty, homelessness, unemployment and discrimination, and for them to assist in the reduction and ulitmatlly elimination of such problems.

Our Organization's mission is to provide emergency shelter to the homeless population in our target areas, and to assist them to the road of self-sufficiency by providing, housing, educational, business and job opportunities.
