United Way of St. Johns County, Inc.

Description

A 501(c)3 charitable organization governed by St. Johns County residents to prevent and reduce community problems by funding initiatives and programs through its network of partner non-profit agencies. Annual assessments are conducted by community volunteers to measure program outcomes and determine effectiveness of strategies aimed at reducing, preventing, eliminating problems that affect the quality of life of St. Johns County citizens.

Volunteers and staff also assist during times of disaster and special issue campaigns such as food drives.

UW also facilitates workshops/trainings and performs studies to assist community organizations toward achieving programmatic success and financial growth/self-sufficiency.
