Mission Statement
The mission of the El Paso Collaborative for Community and Economic Development is to reduce poverty by assisting low-wealth households to develop long-term assets. The Collaborative implements its mission by providing loan products and development services that facilitate affordable housing, small business and economic development in El Paso and contiguous counties.
Description
The El Paso Collaborative is a federally-certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that provides access to loan capital to underserved, low-income households that typically rely on financial services from the Alternative Financial Sector. The Collaborative offers affordable loan products and other services such as money management classe, Individual Development Accounts (IDAs) and free income tax preparation. It also administers affordable housing programs.
