Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.

ISM: a community project is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and support of the arts. We serve the arts community by creating a cultural network, developing and coordinating collaborative projects, hosting events and publishing an internationally distributed magazine.
ISM: a community project is dedicated to supporting the arts and the artists that make up its vibrant scene. Our aim is to give a voice to the artist who otherwise might not have such a platform to share their talent with the world. Our organization is founded on the principals of empowering artists, art aficionados and the art curious by providing them the education, resources, network, support and outlets necessary to take their talents from the local to global level. This generation exists in a time of unprecedented interconnectivity and accessibility. We are using these capabilities to create social networks and empowered communities comprised of individuals with an interest in the arts. ISM: a community project is utilizing its years of experience and its powerful network to help connect the creative community in meaningful and profitable ways unrestricted by geography. Not simply just a magazine, our non-profit organization is a community and a movement whose success is wholly dependent on the patronage of each and every individual member. Through your generous donations we are able to publish the works of amazing artists in a magazine seen around the world; we are able to connect artists to other artists, gallery owners, art curators, art dealers, and art collectors; we are able to provide the necessary resources to educate artists on the business behind making a career out of their talent; and we are able to host events that exhibit works to an audience of art patrons and art collectors. Even if you are not an artist yourself, ISM invigorates the communities it works with and enriches the lives of the people it touches. We imagined a world without art and we did not like what we saw. We envisioned a world where talented artists remained nameless and had to take on second jobs to support themselves- to no fault of their own but a lack of resources, education and a supportive community. We pondered living in a world like this and came up with one simple solution: ISM: a community project. We sincerely hope you will take the time to look a little deeper into our organization and learn more about us and what we do. Our hope is that we will inspire you to get involved in some way. Whether it be by contributing your artwork to one of our ongoing projects, volunteering your time, attending one of our events, subscribing to our magazine, making a small donation or simply telling a friend about us- anything helps and everything is appreciated.
