I am a student at tri-c that wanted to be apart of something that made a difference in childrens lives. I am in school for hospitality and have to do volunteer hours. I wanted to make my volunteer hours count with an organization that really matters. So I figured I could put my FREE labor to use here. I kept getting the run around and they kept saying they would send me information. They never sent information and left me high and dry for my deadline for volunteer hours. I am very disappointed with who ever is in charge of volunteering and will let someone know how they are treating their potential volunteers. Why post if your just going to give people the run around especially when its mandatory for them to pass a class. I will now have to do something last minute that's a small cause. I would have loved to put my work in for a big cause but whoever is in charge of volunteering doesnt care about the company playing with volunteers.
