One Boy's Cure For Autism

Our home based program is based on the "Son-Rise" program from The Option Institute. We work "one on one" with Brenen for five to ten hours each day, "playing" with him while at the same time teaching him. Our program is based on love and acceptance of wherever Brenen is at that particular moment. We follow Brenen and gain rapport. Once we are "buddies", the gentle learning takes place. We emphasis social skills first and foremost, not ABC's and 1,2,3's. This "school" learning does take place, but only after we are having fun first.
