Mission Statement

Havenwoods State Forest is a 237-acre open green space in the city of Milwaukee. Our mission is to provide environmental education and recreation opportunities for all citizens. Havenwoods also strives to maintain and enhance the quality of natural habitat in the urban environment.

Description

Havenwoods staff and volunteers work together to nurture the land for people, plants and wildlife.

That's a big job ... trails to maintain, litter to pick up, gardens to tend, invasives to control, and visitors to greet!
