Mission Statement

Keep Las Cruces Beautiful knows that involvement plays an integral role in the fight against litter. KLCB educates and encourages all citizens to take personal responsibility for their community. KLCB focuses on the 3 E's; education eradication and enforcement. KLCB programs are based on public awareness of weed removal, graffiti abatement, beautification and recycling and are successfully organized with volunteers and residents within the community. The focus of KLCB is to enable the citizens to take ownership, understand the effect litter has on the community, what they can do to take action and how they prevent the problem resulting in behavior change.
