Hope House will provide transitional housing and supportive services to homeless women and their children.
Description
Hope House provides transitional shelter and comprehensive supportive service programming to assist homeless women and their children gain the skills necessary to become self-reliant and productive citizens living in the community they call home. Women and children can reside for up to two years while they engage case management, life skill training, job readiness, computer classes, empowerment based counseling, peer support groups, links to community resources, edcuation, parenting classes, advocacy and other services that empower them toward creating a quality life. Child care is available on site for moms to seek employment or while they work. Children service programming provides age appropriate child centered activities to help build self esteem, learn problem solving, identify personal assets and use them, social interaction skills, coping skills and other activities that stimulate positive growth and development.
