Mission Statement

Our Goal: Soconomist's main goal is to reduce levels of poverty in the developing countries of South East Asia using sound economic principles.

Our Vision: To help provide volunteering assistance to the core pillars that underlie any economy in a way that is truly sustainable.

Our Belief: The best way that one can make an impact to the alleviation of poverty is to provide sustainable assistance. This we believe can be achieved through the provision of knowledge or investment that can exponentially replicate itself to make ever larger contributions over time.

Description

Our innovative approach combines organised tours of local attractions and sights with an experience of real life in a rural community. We aim to help people in developing countries build a better future by donating the skills and time of our volunteers. We have sent hundreds of volunteers on short term teaching assignments to Cambodia, Philippines, Myanmar and China.
