Mission Statement

MHSEA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes equestrian disciplines as a high school team sport with an emphasis on education, citizenship and recognition of equestrian athletes.

Description

The Minnesota High School Equestrian Association is a program where high school equestrians can pursue a sport they love and are passionate about and represent their high school in "team" competition at the same time. Our program benefits riders in many ways:

  • Members learn discipline and commitment at a young age as most train five days a week, year round.
  • Competition helps build positive character and improves self-confidence
  • Provides educational and leadership opportunities.
  • Teaches the importance of community spirit through volunteerism. (Each member is "required" to volunteer a minimum of five hours.)
