Mission Statement
Air Cadets is a challenging and dynamic national program whose purpose it is to develop in youth the attributes of leadership, active citizenship and physical fitness, all within a safe environment that stimulates an interest in the Canadian Forces. 856 Squadron has 160 cadets aged 12 - 18.
Description
As a member of the 856 Pickering Squadron staff, you will have the opportunity to:
Join a dedicated, welcoming, and dynamic team;
Gain valuable experience and develop transferable skills in teaching and mentoring youth; leadership; administration; event coordination and much more;
Experience the rewards of contributing to the development of youth in our community;
Receive training and mentoring from Canadian Forces Reserve Officers and/or experienced volunteers; and much more
