Mission Statement

We rescue slaughter bound horses....those bought by "killer buyers" for slaughter for human consumption in foreign countries.

To raise awareness about the sound, sane, healthy young horses being slaughtered to feed diners in foreign countries.

To make known the extremely brutal horse slaughter industry that takes place in Mexico, in addition to the killing taking place daily in Canada.

We concentrate our efforts on Thoroughbred Horses and also assist in cases of abuse, neglect and starvation.

Description

Angel Acres Horse Haven Rescue, Inc., was founded in 2004 to help end the slaughter of horses for benefit of the Asian and European meat market, in addition we aid the local authorities in cases of neglect, starvation and abuse.

Additionallly, a great deal of effort is made to raise public awareness of the brutality of the equine slaughter house. To make the American public aware of the dark side of the horse industry.

We rescue, rehabilitate and place into loving homes as many horses as we can handle.
