Mission Statement

Family Growth Center is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide safe and stable group housing for 13-17 years old indentified as homeless in Pierce County.

To redeem and restore compromised families through hope and healing.

Description

With homelessness and human-trafficking on the rise, we want to keep local youth safe and to provide them opportunities for success.

Family Growth Center actively offers help to hurting young people by giving them a place to live and provides food, clothing, education, mentoring, counseling, temporary housing and other resources.

Not only do they help Homeless teens they offer: SPROUTS Day Care for low income families who cannot afford the fancy day care. They are open 24 hours giving coverage 7 days per week. BLESSINGS GALORE Thrift Stores have lower prices than other stores. FAMILY GROWTH CENTER gives hope to low income, effecting poverty with solutions to financial difficulties They have job readiness skills training for older workers who can volunteer in order to gain experience.
