We engage and inspire visitors by preserving and sharing Golden’s history.
Three unique venues are administered by Golden History Museums. Astor House Museum is a 1867 hotel/boarding house in the heart of Golden. Clear Creek History Park is a scenic outdoor venue including original log cabins, a one room school house, and other buildings moved to Golden from near-by Golden Gate Canyon. Golden History Center is a traditional gallery museum on the banks of Clear Creek.
