Mission Statement

The Fair Media Council works to create a media savvy society, because we live in a media-driven world. FMC also advocates for quality local news as vital and necessary to the health and well being of the communities in which we live. Founded in 1979, FMC is regarded as one of the oldest and most successful media watchdog organizations in the country. FMC is a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

Description

FMC keeps media engaged in the communities they cover by offering opportunities for the public and media to hold open dialogues, build relationships and mutual understanding.
