Mission Statement
Collaborating with skilled labor, volunteers and the community to repair the homes of low-income homeowners and non-profit-owned facilities in the City of Boston. We do this at no cost to our recipients.
Description
Rebuilding Together Boston preserves homeownership and affordable housing and stabilizes and revitalizes neighborhoods through its home and non-profit facility repair and rehabilitation work. We improve the quality of life for our project recipients by improving their safety, security, warmth and independence and reducing their energy costs, as feasible. Since 1991, RTB has engaged over 20,000 volunteers, repaired over 350 sites and the value of our work is estimated at over $3.5 million.,
We provide volunteer opportunities through our National Rebuilding Day (the last Saturday each April) and Special Service Days (May thorugh early November). To volunteer, sponsor a site, make a donation or for other issues, we welcome your phone calls or emails.
