Mission Statement

The Company OnStage, Inc. (COS) , is a 501 (c) (3) community theater located in southwest Houston. Since its founding in 1978, COS has had the following organizational purposes and goals:

- To provide the community with quality theatrical productions at an affordable price.

- To encourage participation in theater by the community.

- To increase awareness and appreciation of the theatrical arts.

- To provide citizens of all ages and backgrounds with an opportunity to develop theatrical talents by participating in acting and in other technical aspects of theater.

Description

The Company OnStage is a small community theater located in Southwest Houston. We offer evening performances for adults on Fridays and Saturday and children's shows on Saturdays. We also offer Sunday matinee performances.

Our theater is a volunteer-run organization with no full-time staff. We delight in bringing the community together to produce, perform and enjoy high-quality affordable entertainment.

In addition to our performances, we also offer a week-long summer camp for elementary aged students who want to learn the basics of story-telling, character development and acting. While writing a script, the campers learn to think creatively, work together as a team, and create magic.
