Mission Statement

The mission of the Museum of the Misssissippi Delta is to collect, preserve, and exhibit tangible artifacts which enable the Museum to educate the public about the art, history, and natural history of the Mississippi Delta and its surrounding regions.

Description

The Museum of the Mississippi Delta has been serving the publc for over 4 years, offering excellence in exhibitions and programs. Each year visitors from around the world find their way to Greenwood to expereince a piece of the Mississippi Delta. We are proud of our hertiage and of our ongoing tradition of collecting, preserving and interpreting the art, history and natural science of this unique region. We are able to achieve this through a group of volunteers, the Friends of the Museum, who help us operate th facility.
