Rivers Wish Animal Sanctuary

My 10 year old daughter and I have been coming out to Rivers Wish every week to help out in the bunny barn and occasionally with the goats and sheep. It provides great opportunity for her to learn responsibility and how to take care of and interact with the animals. We both look forward to it every week and it's a great way for us to spend quality time together while working with the animals we both love. The staff and other volunteers are all great to work with and I would highly recommend Rivers Wish to any animal lover who is looking for a great place to volunteer.

We feed the animals once a week and help out other times. It's the happiest time of our week. Seeing the animals and petting them brings us so much joy. The other volunteers and coordinators are great. The owners are super kind. It's an overall great experience!

I LOVE volunteering at River's Wish! The owners are amazing in what they do and provide to these animals and you can just see how happy and thankful each of them are to be here. It's clean, comfortable, and well-managed. I look forward to putting on my work boots and seeing what each new day here has in store :)

This is a great place to volunteer with nice people to work along with that are passionate about all animals! River's Wish gives animals a voice and aims to teach others about love and compassion for our animal friends.

I've been volunteering for 30 years for various organizations and this has by far been the most enjoyable experience of all. Spending time with the animals is amazing of course but what I've enjoyed the most is the fact that on day 1 I was able to get involved, learn and get my hands dirty (no pun intended, it is a farm after all!) and really feel like I was making an impact in the lives of the animals right off the bat. The founders, the staff and all of the volunteers are a pleasure to work with and there is a real spirit of teamwork. Everyone pitches in to help when needed even if it's not part of their normal volunteer shift or role. All of the people involved in this organization are providing a very important and desperately needed service to our community by helping these animals and educating on compassionate treatment of all beings.

The staff are friendly and are willing to explain how things are done. Just a great bunch of people to work around. :)

River's Wish Animal Sanctuary is an animal safe haven, it is a place full of passionate people who work hard every single spare time they have to helping these beautiful creatures get back to health and have an all together better life! The vegan owners are Pete and Kit who provide time, energy, a lot of money, and most importantly pure kindness and love to every single on of these animals! I have been volunteering here almost for a year now, and have met pretty much everyone here and have absolutely no complaints! Everyone who is there is there to help the animals and do an amazing job at it! If you have a love for animals, skip the zoo, come stop by River's Wish, help the animals, and learn important life skills while helping an animal in need!
