Description
Our skysthelimit.org platform connects our entrepreneurs with experienced volunteer business advisors & mentors to help them build their businesses.
Over 11 million low-income young adults across the country say they want to start a business, but lack the support and resources they need to do so. Ourmission is to prepare, launch and grow highly motivated young entrepreneurs who face barriers to business ownership. We do this through our "Pathway to Business Ownership" training, interest-free loans up to $10,000, and a network of experienced, volunteer business mentors and subject-matter experts.
We know that talent is distributed equally - but opportunity isn't. Our support levels the playing field for entrepreneurs ages 18 to 29, helping them create local businesses, jobs and new sources of income for themselves and their families while learning highly relevant business skills.
Our vision is that these young adult-led enterprises become a national model for job creation, equitable development and economic empowerment.
We're also known as Youth Business USA. We're a 501(c)3 public charity, EIN# 27-4333255.

Skysthelimit.org offers a convenient way to make a big impact on a young person's life. Through their online platform, they connect underrepresented young entrepreneurs with volunteer support in a variety of areas. They also offer a wealth of entrepreneurship training resources and have regular funding opportunities to help their entrepreneur members start or grow their business.
In only a few months, I've had the pleasure of working with several mentees as they've started or grown their businesses. It's been extremely rewarding! I've learned actually learned a ton about running my own business and developed relationships that will last a lifetime!
If you're looking for a quality remote volunteer experience. Look no further!

Skysthelimit.org provides the deeply rewarding opportunity to connect with young entrepreneurs and help them build their businesses. What I most appreciate is that this happens with entrepreneurs throughout the country, and that we can meet when and how it works for us.

YBUSA is a great non-profit organization. Everyone on the team is extremely hard-working and dedicated to positively impacting the lives of youth entrepreneurs! This is a very worth-while cause to donate time and money to.

Youth Business USA is a phenomenal non-profit organization. Their mission is truly empowering for young entrepreneurs and for the world. The team at YBUSA is awesome and incredibly genuine. If you're looking for a volunteer opportunity that truly allows you to give back in a meaningful way, then this is it. You will have a direct and lasting impact on a young person's life, you will join a community of talented and giving professionals, you will build a valuable relationship with a young person, and you will grow in your own career - no matter what stage of your career you're in. The skysthelimit.org platform allows you to volunteer remotely and gives you the flexibility of volunteering on your own terms - as little or as much as you would like. This is a great volunteer opportunity for people with busy schedules or people who travel for work, as well as people who have the ability to meet in person. Would highly recommend Youth Business USA!

YBUSA is an amazing organization with a true passion for improving entrepreneurial opportunities for underserved entrepreneurs. It's incredibly rewarding as an entrepreneur to volunteer with them and take the experience and advice I've been fortunate to receive over the years and pay it forward to the entrepreneurs creating value in our local areas. The team at YBUSA works tirelessly to improve the programming, tools, and resources available to the community, and it only takes one experience with them to understand the real impact they are providing for these individuals.

I recently retired but wanted to continue utilize my business, management and creative skills to help local youth who were starting their businesses. YBUSA is a really approachable and flexible way to volunteer as a mentor. They look at your background and try to match you up with an appropriate entrepreneur. It doesn't take a lot of time and you can work with different people depending on your skills. You can also refer your entrepreneur to other volunteers who may have other skills within YBUSA. If you want to be a resource to those who are creating our future, I think this place is a great fit for you.
