The Bedford Humane Society Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1994 and dedicated to eliminating the overpopulation of cats and dogs in Bedford County through education, spay/neuter programs and companion animal adoptions.

Description

The Bedford Humane Society Inc. offers a variety of programs to assist pets and pet owners in Bedford City and County.

On June 5th, 2009 we purchased a 3.4 acre property at 829 Ole Turnpke Drive in Bedford. The house will be converted to offices. We have received approval from the City of Bedford to construct a 6,000 sq ft no kill, limited admission animal adoption center on the property. The facility will be named after its benefactor, The Vernon D Lybolt Jr. Adoption Center.

This is a good place because it has very high prices , and it should not be allowed to go that high for animals that where rescued.
