Mission Statement

Nivasa Foundation seeks to end modern day slavery one home at a time.

Description

The Nivasa Foundation assists Sri Lankan women living in poverty who were victims of enslavement when they sought domestic work overseas. By supporting their rehabilitation and funding the educational and daily needs of their children through the Sponsor-A-Child program, the hardships and pressures of poverty are eased and the cycle of victimization can be broken.

The Nivasa Foundation provides direct aid grants to organizations in Sri Lanka which support the welfare and rehabilitation of Sri Lankan women who have escaped enslavement.
