We are looking for volunteer assistants! Earn community hours. Attention Volunteer assistants! Are you looking to serve your community with preschoolers or elementary children with classes such as princess/creative ballet dance, tap, ballet, jazz, cheer, and hip-hop? We thrive on community support and have volunteer hours for you! We hope you can commit to at least the summer, 6 months, or one year, if at all possible. Times: Thursdays 4:30-5:15PM princess ballet, 5:30-6:15PM, 6:15-7PM Disney Creative tap/ballet Dance, Fridays 5:00-6:45PM pre-ballet, Saturday 12:45pm-1:30pm, Preschool Princess ballet/jazz and Sundays, 10AM-12:50PM Preschool ballet/jazz and more! Volunteers will be working with children and assisting with dance routines. We will help children learn the fundamentals of dance and sing songs. We teach balance, rhythm, and skills. You’ll be helping with taking attendance, and encouraging students to take turns and following instructions. In addition, you will help sanitize props, dry mop floors after class, and help put the room back in place. Be prepared to do light office cleaning after class. Volunteer at home with grant writing, need an assist to write grants to allow our center to grow and reach to low income, special needs, and minority ethnic groups. We are looking to help our community with obesity, raising awareness with fitness and healthy social interaction. Help with fundraising activities, special events, recital, etc. We are a nonprofit dance center in Castro Valley, CA. We provide community engagement and volunteerism. I look forward to meeting you!
