The Dixon Gallery and Gardens

Mission Statement

The basic mission of The Dixon Gallery and Gardens is to collect, to preserve, to display, to interpret, to provide programming, and to enhance the goals expressed by Hugo and Margaret Dixon. Specifically, they sought that their home and gardens be enjoyed by people in all walks of life, with special attention directed toward developing opportunities for serious study of Impressionism and related schools, of decorative arts, and in the field of horticulture.
