Community Literacy Program

Description

We train volunteers to tutor adults for whom English is their second language to speak, read and write English. Knowledge of a foreign languge is not required, or even preferred.

All materials are provided, and matching with a student is at the tutor's convenience. We ask that one and one half hours twice a week be devoted to tutoring one or more students. Encouragement for the tutor is available at all times.
