Description

Maryville Academy as a whole provides educational, residential, psychiatric, psychological, shelter, respite care for young children, family and individual counseling services to its clients. Maryville has several sites which cater to various populations throughout the Chicagoland area.

  • The St. Margaret of Scotland site is shelter for teen mothers ages 13-20 and older adolescent girls who are in trasition. The mothers/teens are provided with food, shelter, guidance, therapy, daycare, case management and assistance with obtaining educational resources.

  • The Maryville Parenting Teen center also caters to the needs of teen mothers 13-20. However, this is the mother's permenant residence which is similar to a group home setting. Mothers are offered services surrounding the improvement of parenting skills and independant living skills. Services also include casemanagement, daycare and assistance with job placement.

  • The Farm Campus for Young Women provides one-of-a-kind residential treatment for young women with behavioral, academic performance and other challenges. This program is located in Durand, IL and provides a unique framework for the delivery of gender specific services designed to meet the needs of these special young women. The program offers an array of services designed to empower young women to reach their full potential and to help them prepare for life beyond Maryville.
