Mission Statement

The Capitol Theatre Center's mission is to:

Produce, promote, enhance and encourage the growth and development of theater, performing arts and visual arts within the community of Franklin County, Pennsylvania and the surrounding region.

Co-operate with other organizations within Franklin County, Pennsylvania and its environs in the hosting, holding and promoting of events which will promote and enhance public awareness and appreciation for the performing arts.

Own, maintain and operate an historically significant theater and performing arts center for the public benefit of Franklin County, Pennsylvania and its environs.

Description

The Capitol Theatre Center serves the region by providing cultural enrichment through the year, and to meet the interests of a broad constituency of patrons. It serves as a primary venue for community artistic events and national touring live shows.
