Description

We undertake agriculture-oriented projects in urban environments, and our aim is to achieve multiple positive outcomes with each project. We target underserved groups and believe in the power of food to unite people and to lay foundations for healthy communities. Our first project is an urban garden and therapy space at the Salvation Army’s Bell Shelter in Bell, CA.

We are building a social enterprise that will grow high quality, organic produce, using local labor and providing job training, selling to local Los Angeles restaurants who care about where they purchase ingredients. We aim to become self-sustaining and pioneer a model that can be taken to other urban centers to GrowGood.
