Mission Statement

In community with addicted women and their children, Renewal House fosters healing, resiliency and continuing recovery to enhance family health.

Description

Women come to Renewal House with a substance-use addiction and other interlocking issues, such as co-occurring mental health disorders, homelessness, unemployment, limited formal education, a history of trauma, and entanglements with legal and child welfare systems.

To break the cycle of addiction and poverty, Renewal House provides compassionate, holistic care for the entire family. Women and their children are provided the chance to heal together, a safe place to live, the skills to make healthier choices, and the support to achieve a different way of life.
