Mission Statement

To promptly and professionally enforce Wabash County Animal Control Ordinance and provide the county with an animal shelter to protect animals from abuse and neglect.

Description

We take in stray and abandon dogs and cats as well as owner surrendered animals, when space allows, and try to find forever homes for each and every dog or cat. We give vaccinations to all animals and flea and tick control as well. We also test cats for Felv/Fiv and test every dog for Heartworms.

Most animals that are adopted out are Spayed or Neutered. For the animals that are not yet fixed when adopted, the adoptee must pay an additional $60 for a certificate to put toward getting the animal fixed.
