Mission Statement

THE MISSION OF THE SAN FRANCISCO CITY CHORUS is to provide rewarding musical and educational experiences for singers and audiences alike in the San Francisco Bay Area. We embrace and perform a full range of music, from early music to contemporary compositions. Our singers, who come from diverse backgrounds and all regions of the San Francisco Bay Area, are dedicated to offering the highest caliber performances for audiences.

Description

We are a small community chorus, established in 1979. Membership is open to choral singers with varying experience. We ask for a commitment to consistent practice and excellent performance.
In return, we promise challenging, rewarding musical and educational opportunities with supportive, welcoming, and fun-loving friends and colleagues.
