Description

Hands On North Texas (HONT), a program of the Volunteer Center of North Texas (VCNT), helps individuals, families, corporate and community groups find creative and flexible volunteer opportunities at nonprofit agencies in Collin, Dallas and Tarrant counties. Hands On North Texas is part of the Hands On Network, a national civic movement that brings people together to tackle community problems through volunteer service, encouraging them to ""be the change"" in their communities. We will connect you with a volunteer service opportunity that makes a meaningful, rewarding change in the North Texas area. Whether you are working, parenting, in school or retired, Hands On North Texas offers you a variety of ways to get involved in the community while juggling your busy schedule. Volunteer for a one-time project. Volunteer for a few weeks. Volunteer after work or on the weekends. Volunteer alone or with family, friends or co-workers. When you volunteer with Hands On North Texas, you join people from all backgrounds and experiences.
