Mission Statement

Mission
The mission of The Foothills Humane Society is promote the well being of animals through community leadership, advocacy, and education. We will provide care for animals that are neglected, abused, exploited, stray or homeless.
Guiding Principles:
1. Compassion for all animals
2. Respect for animals, the public, and all other organizations with similar goals and guiding principles
3. Collaboration. We see the value in working together with the MD of Foothills; local municipalities; other animal welfare organizations; and the general public, to make our region a healthier, safer environment for all.
4. Public education. We are committed to spreading the word about animal welfare in the Foothills.
